Terms
Short, because this is a research project and a website, not a service you are paying for.
Effective: June 2026.
What this is
oConsent is an independent, open research project. This website exists to explain it and to point you at the code and the paper. There is no product to sign up for and no service-level promise being made.
Use of the code
The reference implementation lives on GitHub. Your use of that code is governed by the license in the repository, not by this page. The project-wide license is still being finalized, which is noted plainly on the status page. If license terms matter for your use, check the repository or ask before you build on it.
No warranty
Everything here is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind. The software is early and explicitly incomplete in places. Do not put it in front of real users’ real data expecting it to be finished, because it is not.
The paper
The 2022 paper is published under CC BY-SA 4.0. Cite it if you build on the ideas.
